095: 2013 F.F.F.F. Day Three

Even more people are showing up today as we approach the weekend. But we begin with one of the "old timers", Bob Swadling who talks about a little history of both the F.F.F.F. convention but also his evolution of his coin inventions including the Flipper Coin and his relationships with Ken Brooke, Mark Mason and others.

Next up we chatted with Harrison Carroll, another long time attendee who hails from Buffalo and who personally knew Eddie Fechter and has many stories about this venerable magician. But our chat began with his career as a trade show magician. Here Harrison reveals lots of inside tips for the trade show worker.

Mike Seege stopped by next and talked about his work as a restaurant magician in Buffalo and his association with the legacy of Eddie Fechter..

Young and impressive Reuben Moreland opened the afternoon show with a silent act that revved up the crowd with his cards and dice routine. We will all hear more from him as the years go by.

094: 2013 F.F.F.F. Day Two

Well, if you enjoyed yesterday's offering then you should love today's podcast. We start with an in-depth chat with organizer Obie O'Brien, better known as the Chief Forker (named after the Forks Hotel where the F.F.F.F. all began 43 years ago). Then later in the day we returned to Alex's Restaurant for more ribs and some delightful conversation with Geoff Williams, from Florida, and Peter McLanachan, from Glasgow, Scotland.

I was a little late getting this one posted because of the late lecture by Guest of Honor,, Stephen Bargatze then a chance to chat with some of our international neighbors and attendees. I hope to have some more interesting interviews tomorrow plus additional pictures. This convention is such a blast.
