323: David Sandy Produces

David Sandy does indeed produce. He does what he says. He produces and delivers results. But beyond that, he is a successful producer not only of his own show in Performing Arts Centers across the U.S. performing magic with major symphony orchestras, but he has also produced shows for several other artists, most notably, Tom Mullica as "Red Skelton".

322: Kirby VanBurch - From Vegas to Branson

Kirby VanBurch is returning to his roots...Houston, Texas. He was born there when he fell in love with magic at age seven. His interest grew so he moved to Las Vegas where, according to Wikipedia, he was the youngest illusionist to have his own show. From there he moved to Reno then back to Las Vegas where he ran for the U.S. Senate. Then he moved to Branson, Missouri where he stayed for the next 20 years performing in nine separate theaters.

It is interesting to hear about his failed attempt to run for political office (U.S. Senate) in Nevada. This week we learn more about Scott Wells, the host of The Magic Word. In response to listenerswho have asked, "who is this guy?", the mystery is uncovered. Scott's friend and colleague, Jamie Salinas, hosts this episode and asks the questions that many want to know on Scott's background and what makes him qualified to produce this podcast and how he knows so many magicians.

More than a friend, Scott is a colleague who is a professional magician who has personally known and/or worked with many of those being interviewed. Also, he has shared experiences in the many performing venues as the guests on the podcast.

This is a little embarrassing to talks about myself for so long.
